Who are we?

We are a group of Muslims who are trying to help Muslims all over the world to understand the Holy Quran by themselves. We have no other objectives.
All materials, books, dictionaries videos, lessons posted at our website are free of charge; we have copyrights for all of them and we hereby grant permission to every Muslim who wants to use them, print them or distribute them. The only restriction is that they cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Purpose

The purpose of this book and of this program is it to provide the vocabulary and grammar knowledge required to understand the Holy Qur’an at the minimum level. Interpretation of the Quran is not in the scope of this program.

For whom

This book is for all Muslims who want to understand Quran directly so that they will understand what they are saying in their prayers and in their recitations.
The prerequisite is the knowledge of Arabic letters to read the Quran in its original text. If you cannot read the Quran in Arabic, you should first learn it, then proceed with this book.

Method

The method employed in this program is a modern engineering approach that uses many teaching techniques such as memory pegs, teaching in context, etc. It is more practically oriented rather than being linguistically oriented.
This program is specific to Quran; it is not a general Arabic language course. Only those words and rules that are used in the Quran are taught, and nothing else. All examples given in the book are taken from the Holy Quran, with very few exceptions. Certain rules and verb forms that are used very seldom are either covered very briefly or omitted altogether.

The last two items, Dictionary of the Holy Quran and Root Dictionary of the Holy Quran are specific to this program. Dictionary of the Holy Quran has the unique feature of listing all words used in the Quran in the forms they are used.
